  Because this is a packwiz pack (auto-updates every time you launch), it must be imported into MultiMC or a fork of it like Prism Launcher.

  1. Copy the link to the below zip.
  2. In your chosen launcher, add a new instance and select Import from Zip. Paste the link.
  3. Launch the newly created instance.

  Minecraft 1.16.5 requires Java 8. If you don't already have Java 8, I would suggest installing the Temurin build of OpenJDK, then go into the instance settings and changing the Java installation there.
